This is a wonderfully-crisp, modern, aromatic, dry medium-bodied white wine from the Lombardy region in the North of Italy.

The initial bouquet on the nose was of lemon and lime, pear drops and a hint of spiciness.

I feel this is a well-knitted, textured light white wine with aplomb and style and is very versatile so would suit most occasions. It has a refreshing character so is therefore very good drinking with or without a main course.

There is a slight metallic aftertaste, which is lingering to the point of loitering.

We drank this lovely wine with party foods whilst chatting about our recent holiday driving around Northern Italy.

The label indicates a typical building of the region and as I have just returned from Italy and the Lake Garda region saw many similar architecturally designed structures.

It is made from 100% Pinot Grigio grapes which I feel makes a delightful, characterful wine, with a mouth-watering finish.

9/10 from me.
